How do i get rid of a toe nail infection?

i have a really bad toe nail infection on my right big toe, and i have had it for months. lately it has been bleeding, and then crusting over but it's like black, and i can see purple around my toe so i know it's an infection, but re-opening my scab won't help will it? how can i get rid of it?How do i get rid of a toe nail infection?

use it twice a day, morning and at night. it will get rid of it in a week.

the original Fungi-Nail. It comes in a brown jar and it's near the pharmacy in wal mart. I've had 2 nail fungus attacks and this stuff works. It goes away within 2 - 4 weeks if you use everyday like twice a day. costs like 6 or 8 bucks, maybe less.
It is most likely a fungal infection. You can try using Desinex or another antifungal cream, but you probably need a perscription antifungal from the doctor.
