tell him his last treatment did not work and he should put you on something more stronger and effective.

Apple cider vinegar has many amazing uses.

One of the oldest and most trusted toenail fungus treatments is apple cider vinegar. This valuable product has been heavily relied upon throughout the ages to prevent and alleviate a number of ailments. It helps alkalize the body and is rich in potassium, which supports cell growth. Throughout history apple cider vinegar has been used to treat earaches, infections, arthritis, and as an aid in digestion. It has also been said to aid in the detoxification of bodily organs and eliminate warts. It is easily accessible, inexpensive and useful for a variety of disorders and conditions. For all of these reasons, apple cider vinegar is a wonderful toenail fungus treatment.
I too tried the Lamisil.Paid $900 dollars for nothing.Took it for three months and had to get liver panels drawn monthly. That medicine is too dangerous.Had the whole toe nail removed and that did nothing.I had a patient of mine that swore by Vick's vapor rub.She said her pedicurist (chinese lady)recommended it.She said hers went away but you have to be diligent and use it every night.Good luck(^_^)
you have to cure it right away or it will spread to your skin, cause it is cause by tapeworm. they are plants moles that eat at the flesh. i suggest you visit this website called www.fungrx.com. it will help with all the problems immediately. i promise you. please try them. i know about lamisil, but they do not work too good. please read why they work so good.
Definitely neat Tea Tree Oil, you have to persevere because the nail has to grow its entire length which takes about a year. Much better than Lamisil (Lamisil gave my hubby a terrible skin reaction - he was getting up in the night having a cool shower to ease the irritation).
Go back to your GP and tell him that the last treatment didn't work. He'll either put you on something stronger or he'll give you a different treatment. It's better to get it sorted out asap. The longer you leave it, the worse it could get. And btw, no one looks at your nails in the swimming pool :)
I agree w/ Sarah, tea tree oil, but I don't mix it w/water, i use it straight (15%) from bottle.
Saturate a cotton ball or q-tip %26amp; apply 2x a day.
Good Luck!
try bathing them in tea tree oil. mix a few drops with a bowl of water.
Vicks vapor rub...it will take time, but works well.......rub it into the nail, and underneath also.........
Onychomycosis is fungal infection of the nail plate, nail bed, or both.
Over-the-counter creams and ointments generally do not help treat this condition.
Prescription anti-fungal medicines taken by mouth may help clear the fungus in about 50% of patients. However, such medicines can cause side effects or may interfere with other health medicines the patient is taking.
In some cases, the nail may be removed by the doctor. Nails grow slowly, so even if treatment is successful, a new, clearer nail may take up to a year to grow in.
Fungal nail infections may be difficult to treat and may become a reservoir for fungal organisms, causing them to return in the skin or nails. The fungal nail infection is cured by the growth of new, non-infected nails. Even with successful treatment, a relapse is common.
