How to get rid of fungal nail infections?

Have just had a baby (2 months ago) and during pregnancy got a very bad case of athletes foot which spred to big toe nail. Due to being pregnant was unable to use many treatments so subsequently it has gotten worse. I believe there are lots of treatments both medical and homeopathic. Just wondered how succesful they are and which ones are best. xHow to get rid of fungal nail infections?
Tea tree oil worked a treat for me. I just rubbed a little bit on every day after I got out the shower. How to get rid of fungal nail infections?
you need your GP as this can take some time to treat and the treatments are expensive, costing the nhs as much as 50 per bottle of treatment. so make the most of the free prescriptions.

Also if you had athletes foot when pregnant why did you not go to the Dr, topical anti fungals are used during pregnancy to treat thrush, so your foot would have been a breeze. Also recurrent fungal infection any where in the body can indicate blood sugar imbalance, and if diabetic you should never treat a foot problem alone. There are too many complications to take into account.

SEE THE DOCTOR.
Hi, see your GP he will probably give you this

Daktarin Creme, for the skin, apply twice daily.

and

Amorlfine Hydrochlride nail laquer, appyl to affected nails twice a day too.

it is a bit of a cafuffle, but works.

good luck ( you can bet you will just get it painted on and the baby will start crying!)

:o)
Are you nursing? You won't be able to use many drugs to fix it. I've heard that tea tree oil works, but that it will take time. I bought some and used it when my one toe started to really hurt and it took the pain away.
Put Vick's vapor run on your Toe nails and Put socks on and do this for a couple of Night,Put a pair of socks on also and this should take It away.Congrats on the New Baby!!
Well I think after this long you should probably get a prescription to get rid of it quickly and completely.
VICKS VAPORUB
I'm not sure but i think this is what my daughter has someone told her to try lime yogurt
