i also have tiny red marks on knuckle and inner crease of thumb and index fingerI have stiches on inner thumb and have redline from my nail 2 knuckle could this b a infection?
Yes this most likely is an infection brewing . The signs of infection are red lines and feeling hot in the area ..
I would say that a call to your PCP is in order to rule this out . The longer you wait the harder it will be to treat , you can also loose function or the finger from gangrene if not treated .
Do you have any medical problems that could delay the healing process such as diabetes ?
