I have a toenail infection it is yellow and a new nail is growing underneath please help i am scared?

i'm going to a chropidist on monday and i am a real worrier i need to no what they will do and if they will do it on the first opointment and if it will hurt thank you xI have a toenail infection it is yellow and a new nail is growing underneath please help i am scared?
Don't worry about it. If the nail is yellow then it is probably dead and will fall off anyway, especially if the new nail is growing underneath.

If the new nail is growing underneath the old nail will eventually come off on it's own. It's unlikely the Chiropodist will do anything without first discussing it with you, if you don't want him/her to remove the old nail, than tell him/her that.
They'll whip the nail off and it will hurt like bloody hell believe me.
They will probably just rip your nail off.
cut it off...then you won't have an infected toe
