To treat nail infection, my doctor says to mix Gris-Peg & Fungoid Tincture. Have any of you done this before?

I Have a fungal nail infection on my toe. I went to the doctor and she said to place a medicine called ';Gris-Peg'; into an OTC medicine called ';Fungoid Tincture.'; I would have to let it dissolve and then put it on my toe.





Has anyone ever been perscribed to do this? The pharmisist at my doctors office have never heard of this before, so I'm kind of curious about this because I don't want to waste time doing this if it isn't going to work.To treat nail infection, my doctor says to mix Gris-Peg %26amp; Fungoid Tincture. I have not heard of it, and most meds can be expensive, but I have been told that soaking your feet in Listerine is a great therapy for toenail fungus, who knows for the price, give it a try, but as always keep in contact with a foot dr. if you can. Good Luck
I've never had a nail infection, but it is my understanding that the topical remedies don't work well, since the infection is under the nail or in the nail bed. I understand there is a medication you can take orally that does a much better job. Good Luck.
