How to cure a nail infection?

When I was very young My fnger got slammed into a door and the nail fell off, It grew back sorta funkyy and I get an occasional infection in it..





Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of an infection under the nail... It appears sort of yello/greenish in a small area... Does anyone have a certain product, etc they know about that can help?
