Why would God give some people fungal nail infections?

What good does that do anyone?





(hypothetical, from an atheist, wondering what the point of God giving people fungal nail infections is)Why would God give some people fungal nail infections?
You might as well ask why people get sick and die.





We are subject to the conditions extant as a result of man rejecting God.





In any event, a fungal infection in finger and toe nails can be cleared up fairly easily by soaking the affected nails on hydrogen peroxide for 15 to 30 minutes, three times a day for about a week or so.





Did God give us the ability to fight disease? Sure looks like it.Why would God give some people fungal nail infections?
Dunno, and it is things like fungal nail infections, wasps, and the menopause which have helped to convince me there is no god. To anyone who believes in 'intelligent design' I would say, you know, how much intelligence does it take to create athlete's foot?
God gives you the intelligence to prevent such things. And when you ignore that, he gives you the intelligence to cure it. Human ignorance, i.e., ignoring God's direction for humanity, is the cause of all disease and suffering. Man likes to blame God for his mistakes.
haha, I don't think God directly gives people fungal infections! That's like saying God gives us a cold or something I don't think God gives us anything. I think he uses things to work out his will. He allows them but I don't think fungal infections are included in that! You never know though someone might find God through a fungal infection lol!





I am chronically ill but I don't think God has given it me. Neither has he took it away, he's allowing it to happen and I trust his will.
Wash your hands. Stop picking your nose and butt. Start cleaning under your nails and you probably won't have an issue. Let's take responsibility for the fact that maybe some us aren't the cleanest people living on this planet. And by ';us'; I mean you. Now be good and go wash your hands.

God doesn't decide everything for you- that would make you a robot. Whoever has the fungul toe infection got it from something they did. Like wearing someone else's shoes or whatever...not God. Why blame God for the bad, when you don't acknoledge Him for the good!!!!!!!!!!!!
People get ';fungus'; because they don't bath and have poor hygiene either by choice or because they are poor and homeless. People as well as Christians can't expect God to do everything for them. Get off your butt and clean your nasty feet.
So they could suffer the screaming agony of having their toenails removed
He does not. This sinful world does. He warned us about sin and its consequences. Yet we still blame it on God.
it isn't god who give this to us it is humans that causes this by going to nail shops and all the chemicals we use
